Rye and Ginger Kits   

We're just getting our feet wet in the Steampunk movement so please bear with us - and offer us suggestions!

This kit has the basic colours of Steampunk - rusty brown and it's swirling pattern fits the "period", we've included black casings as the black and brown is something Ginger has seen a fair amount of at events.

 Please feel free to give us pointers on this - we're learing.

Steam Punk Suede Corset Kit

 Our most popular kit so far is what we call the "Steampunk Suede" corset kit. This comes in two shades of brown; a rusty brown and a medium brown. Ginger made the sample in her size because as soon as she saw the fabric she loved it. It's beautiful and unique - she's never seen it anywhere other than at Vogue Fabrics.

Unlike the kit above thus "suede" (it's actually a polyester but you'd never know) corset kit has internal casings. Look at the picture above and you'll see black vertical lines - these indicate exterior bone casings. The "suede" corsets have these bone casings on the inside so you don't see black lines on the right side. The suede corset kit also has "self bias" so the top and bottom edges are bound in the same colour.

 A great corset accessorie for women of all ages.

The kits DO NOT include grommets.

Gingers favorite Grommet Kit can be found at both Farthingales and Vogue Fabrics, or you might find them at your local hardware store. BUT...be sure to get size "00" as these are small, many grommets are too big or too tiny.
